“1992 - Coming Full Circle - 2019”

On Saturday, November 9, 2019, the Luminis Health Doctors Community Medical Center Foundation held its 27th annual gala with over 500 supporters in attendance at the Marriott Hotel in College Park.

Since 1992, the gala has secured millions of dollars to directly support and positively impact residents throughout Prince George’s County who are uninsured or underinsured.

Thanks to our contributors, Prince George’s County residents receive free mammograms, cancer screening services, diabetes education, and health management training in addition to other services, regardless of their financial circumstances.

Funds from the gala also support the LHDCMC Mobile Health Clinic, which offers free services to thousands of residents right in their own neighborhood.

We appreciate the support we receive from our contributors and welcome an even stronger partnership as we continue to expand our outreach throughout the county.

The theme for the black-tie event was “Coming Full Circle,” because we held the event at the hotel where the very first gala took place in 1992. The carnival-themed atmosphere was simply amazing and included a beautiful carousel, games of chance, and exciting auction items.

We thank all of our donors who helped us raise the largest amount from this event to date - over $400,000! We greatly appreciate the continued support of our gala attendees and thank those who joined us for the first time.
