The DCMC Mobile Health Clinic (Wellness on Wheels)

The DCMC Mobile Health Clinic provides free health services in various locations throughout Prince George's County including housing developments, shopping centers, credit unions, senior centers, and churches. The goal is to target communities in Prince George’s County who face significantly higher health challenges and disparities than other areas in the state of Maryland. A big disparity is the severe shortage of safety net providers and primary care physicians for those who cannot afford to pay for services.

The Clinic offers services to residents (18 years+) with a focus on chronic disease prevention, screenings, and health education and management. Educational literature promoting a healthy lifestyle and disease management is provided to increase health literacy. All services provided on the mobile clinic are free of charge.

Locations:

Currently, the mobile clinic travels to the Shoppes at New Carrollton, Beltway Plaza Mall, Powder Mill Village Apartments, Megamart Supermarket, the City of Glenarden, Shops at Iverson Mall, Reid Temple AME Church, senior activity centers in Prince George’s County, Bladensburg, MD and Takoma Park, MD.

Your donation to support the mobile health clinic means more residents will receive the care they need. Support the clinic today with a gift of any amount. Thank you in advance!
